I was very sad to hear about the passing of "Joey" as I knew him as a child, experienced his gorwing up, becoming a father, and young man, from the races, to the Dugout Bulls, to him first coaching at Ervin Jr. High..a fine young man that left this earth way to soon.

Our most heartfelt condolences go out to the Booth family.  Joe had agreed to help as a coach at Truman High School only days before passing away.  We were so looking forward to having him with us.  We know he touched the lives of all he came in contact with.

Joe was one of my first friends, all the way back in elementary school. 
I have such fun and vivid memories growing up running with Joey. 
We did everything from spend the night, go to the races or the lake with his parents. 
Joe was always an athlete and I remember going to his hockey games.
I remember one year we played baseball together at his church. 
I wish our paths would have crossed more often over the years. 
Joe was always genuinely happy.  
I am truly so sad to hear of his passing.

Joe was always the sweetest and happiest guy. His smile was infectious and is laugh always made me giggle. He and James always made me smile and usually had me laughing so hard I'd cry. Today I cry for a different reason. I can't even express how much his loss is felt. My sincere condolences to his family.

Booth Family-I am truly devastated to hear about Joe.  Some of my best memories was watching him play football [high school or college] and going to the dirt track on the weekends to watch him race. I will never forget the evening he showed up late to my grandparents 50th anniversary party. I can still hear him asking me "who is the blue hair lady that is tanked". Well, it was my grandmother and we both had a good laugh.                                                                                 I hope all the wonderful memories you have of Joe sustain you through this difficult time. You all are in my thoughts & prayers...

I have been thinking of all the fun times we had with Joey as our Coach for the Dugout Bulls and KC Jr. Royals baseball teams.  He gave so much to all of us (team as well as parents) that we will always be grateful for.  He certainly left his mark and inspired so many young men.  He always thought of others before himself. Coach Booth was a mentor,big brother,coach and role model to me and many others! He was a man who went out of his way to make a difference in many lives not because  he had to but because he wanted to. His love for life, family ,big heart and smile was unmatched by any in this world. God has one of the best by his side but his memories and lessons he passed on to those who were lucky to have come in contact will live and be passed on forever.  His love for his younger brother George was immense special and it was an honor to witness it. I can honestly say if I'm half the man of Coach Booth was when it comes to making a difference in this world it would be a great accomplishment!

Growing up with the Booth family was always an experience and a good one at that. I remember when Jo Jo, as we called him, was racing and wore that bright yellow driving suit. We nicknamed him the Big Banana!  Joe was always so full of life and always had that big smile on his face. We will miss you.

With deepest sympathy 0ur hearts and prayers go out to the Booth Family. Remember that you will always carry in your hearts memories of your happy times together.
