He was preceded in death by his parents, his young brother, Bobby, and his wife of 56 years, Doris.
He spent many years of his life in Kansas City, Missouri. Joe went to Tacoma, Washington where he was in the military (Army) services. There Joe and Doris were married. He spent 2 years in the army and then returned home to Kansas City, MO. He worked in the engineering department at Dart Truck Company for
34 years and also started his own business, drawing house plans with Residential Designs Inc.
Joe and Doris had 2 wonderful sons, Mike and Brad. Joe enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, especially the Lake of the Ozarks. Joe later married Marilyn in the year 2012. They spent many enjoyable years with their families, traveling and enjoying retirement together.
Joe is survived by his wife, Marilyn, two sons, Mike and Brad, 3 step-daughters, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Joe was a devout Christian and will be sorely missed.
