Joseph E. Cerchi, 86, of Kansas City, MO passed away Aug. 8, 2012. Services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (7009 Blue Ridge KCMO) on Monday, Aug. 13th. Visitation from 9:30-11am & Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11am with entombment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Joseph was born on Sept. 7, 1925 in Italy to Angelo & Ida Cerchi. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1957 with his wife & daughter. Joseph owned & operated Florence Ornament Statuary in Raytown for about 40 years. Joseph was preceded in death in 2006 by his wife, Maria Eva Cerchi. He is survived by his daughters, Antonella Cerchi & Cynthia Bierbaum (Chris); a grandson, Luke; a brother, Pietro Cerchi; a sister, Ivana Battistoni and several nieces & nephews.
