Joe was born October 27, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to Richard and Alice Champion. He was a self-employed foundation repair contractor. He enjoyed spending time at The Lake of the Ozarks and was an avid Chiefs fan. He greatly loved his family and always remembered them with a special phone call. He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Winkler of the home; brothers, Dick (Maureen), Bill (Millie), John and Kevin; sisters Mary and Laura (Allen); nephew Michael; nieces Jana, Jill, Angie, Karie, Jennifer, Kristi, Shelbi, Courtney, Lindsay and Angela; Aunt Pat, Aunt Betty and many cousins and friends.
