Josephine Marie Robison

Josephine Marie Robison (Jo), age 90, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri. Jo is preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and John O’Loughlin, her beloved husband, Layton Eugene Robison, and her son-in-law, David Morris. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Schamle, as well as her seven children: John Robison; Kathleen Robison (Kevin Faus); Gerald Robison (Mary); Sarah Maybrier (Jim); Carolyn Morris (Dave); Laura Gianchino (Sam); and Linda Allen. She leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Josephine devoted her life to her husband, Gene, and to her children. Hers was a true vocation to marriage and family. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of every parish to which she belonged. Her greatest prayer was for peace and harmony.

Mom can never be replaced and will be deeply missed. She will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She and Dad are together again.

Visitation will be held at the McGilley Antioch Chapel on Sunday, May 15 from 4:00-6:00PM with the rosary prayed at 5:30PM. Funeral Mass will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Monday, May 16 at 10:30AM. Burial will following at Resurrection Cemetery.
