Josias Cavazos, Jr., 60 of Kansas City, Missouri, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at McGilley’s.
Josias was born on October 10, 1953 in Halls, Tennessee to Josias and Rachel (Aguilar) Cavazos, Sr. Josias was a supervisor for North American Safety Valve at the time of his death. In addition to his parents, Josias is survived by three daughters, Angela Cavazos, Deanna Costillo, and Rachel Figgins; two brothers, David Cavazos and Josue Cavazos; one sister, Stella Cavazos and nine grandchildren.
