Her favorite past-time was with family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandkids and played a major role in their lives. She loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Nascar. Planting flowers in her yard and preparing large meals for her family always brought a lot of joy to her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Doris and Raymond “Swope” Lockard and her brother Raymond Nelson Lockard.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Kendrick; daughter, Kim Mawhiney and husband Roger; son, Brian Kendrick and wife Sue; grandchildren, Brandi Wilmurth, Whitney Mawhiney, Jordan Kendrick, Hunter Kendrick, Lauren Lubben, Caitlin Wilkes, Natalie Martin; and seven great grandchildren, Tyler, Katrina, Kaydence, Kian, Grayson, Emmie and Evie.
She will be truly missed by many. Her kindness and smile were amazing and will never be forgotten.
