Juanita Marie Wohletz

Juanita Marie Veronica Wohletz, 92, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 23, at St. Vincent De Paul Roman Catholic Church, 3104 Flora Ave, KCMO. Visitation will proceed Mass at 9 a.m., with Rosary at 9:30.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO.

Juanita was born July 9, 1934, to Francis and Evelyn Sulzen in Kansas City, KS.

Juanita was proceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert E. Wohletz, her parents, son Joseph A. Wohletz, daughter Kimberly A. Wohletz, grandchildren Aaric, Tobias, Rebecca and Vivienne Wohletz, and siblings Kenneth Sulzen, Conrad Sulzen and Theresa Martell.

Juanita is survived by sons Kevin (Sonja), Steve (Linda), Vince (Leigh Ann), Darren (Julie), David (Lisa), Anthony (Josette), Michael (Rebecca), daughters Karen (Jim) Worland, Denise McGhee, Teresa (Troy) Lowe, daughter-in-law Renee Wohletz, 61 grandchildren and 77 great-grandchildren, and her siblings Mary Hartman, Ann Smith, Kathleen Demaree, Patricia Evans, Paul Sulzen, Leland Sulzen, William Sulzen, David Sulzen and Donald Sulzen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Convent of Christ the King, 1409 E Meyer Blvd, KCMO 64131.

Visitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 3106 Flora Ave, Kansas City, MO 64109, US, on July 23, 2026, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am, followed by the Rosary at the same location from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, and the Mass of Christian Burial from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Committal will take place at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138, US, on July 23, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
