

Judy was born near Lake Village, Arkansas on August 8, 1930, to William Horace and Eulalia Docia Hodges. She married Gene L. "Geno" Georgine on July 5, 1947 and worked as a homemaker raising her three children.
Judy took in ironing and mending and cleaned house to bring in extra income for her family. She worked the election polls for several years, and taught Sunday School to generations of children sharing her love for the Lord. Judy loved reading, completing word puzzles, and volunteered in the church nursery and participated in a quilting circle that donated full size and individual lap quilts to a local Children's Home. Her main focus in life was her great faith and love of the Lord.
She enjoyed embroidery, creating hundreds of gifts for loved ones and friends. Affectionately called "Memaw" by everyone, Judy's favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Survivors include her children: son, Richard Wayne and his wife Normalee Georgine of Raytown, MО; daughter, Betty and her husband Larry Whitaker of Belton, MO; daughter, Sherry and her husband Bert Wallis of Monticello, Ark.; grandchildren: Kim Georgine, Ray (Kim) Wallis, Keith Wallis, Larynn Whitaker, Krysten (Andy) Dotson; great-grandchildren: Joel Wallis, Sam Wallis, Corbin Yeager Georgine, Olivia (Georgine) Sluis, Andelynn Dotson, Gideon Dotson, and Lincoln (Whitaker) Meyers; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gene L. Georgine; brothers: John (Margaret) Hodges, James (Betty) Hodges, William (Louise) Hodges, Robert (Betty) Hodges; grandson, Peter Georgine; and grandson, Anthony Georgine.
Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO, on Friday, June 19, from 1-2 pm, with funeral services to follow at 2 pm.
Pallbearers will be Richard Georgine, Bert Wallis, Larry Whitaker, Ray Wallis, Keith Wallis, Andy Dotson, and Sam Wallis.
