Julie was one of the funniest and strongest person I know. Life had given her many obstacles , however she kept a positive attitude. She will be missed but she will always have a place in heart.

Julie was a generous person who lighted up the room when she walked in, and a good friend when I really needed one many years ago. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to hear of Jules passing. My husband Fred introduced me to my unknown cousin. Being part of a very large Owens clan it was a delight to get to know her. The last time we spoke we talked about family. How important it was to both of us. Jules had such an open heart. Irish quote: Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. May God’s promise bring you comfort. There will be “a new earth... and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore... I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:1-5

Julie was such a sweet, beautiful person in high school, but I really got to know her better at our 40th reunion. From then on, we shared great memories in La Paz with Margo, my surprise birthday party in Arizona, seeing each other in KC & talking on the phone frequently. I will miss her tremendously & happy she's pain free now! Love & will think of you always Julie!!

I recall Julie's house on the corner of 63rd and Summit and walked by it everyday to school. She was the original "pretty red-headed girl". Always kind and always happy as I recall. Didn't even realize she wasn't well and wish I'd spoken with her longer at the Southwest Reunion this summer, my loss. Sincerest condolences to the family. Julie was a great gal and will be missed.
