I was so sad to hear of Kitty’s passing. Growing up I affectionally knew her as Aunt Kitty, my mom’s best friend. I still always think of Aunt Kitty anytime I eat blackberry jam - her’s was always the best. She was always sharing cookies and goodies with everyone and as a kid there was nothing better than her chocolate chip cookies. She was such a lovely lady with one of the kindest hearts I have ever known. She was very loved and will be dearly missed.

Grew up and Kitty was mother to my sister and me,along with her own children, there was always food, laughter, and most of all love in Kitty’s home. She would always listen to us and had a smile and laugh, making us part of her family. Kitty will always be my mom too.

there are so many memories I have of this blessing in my life. Kitty was like a mom to me She always fed me, let me spend so many nights, offered me motherly advise and always had open arms for me. I felt so loved and wanted in that Gardner home. I am forever grateful for her love!!!!!!

Kitty was an amazing lady. Equally competent at servicing a transmission on her Ford station wagon and making a glorious chocolate cake with dark chocolate icing. If you were lucky enough to get there as the cake was being iced, you might score a piece of cake before the rest of the Gardners arrived home. Always with a kind smile and gentle demeanor, she was resilient throughout many challenges. Her faith made her strong and enduring. A role model for us all and a mom to us lucky 🍀 ones. Her memory will comfort all those who knew her long after her passing. We are blessed.

What can I say that nobody knows about my Grandma? She loved Royals baseball and was always a topic of discussion everytime I visited. Those memories I will remember for the rest of my life and wouldn't trade them for the world!

Grandma, you will be missed. There is no doubt in my mind that we will see each other again and talk about baseball and cars, now I know where my love for both comes from! Thank you for the memories and always being there for me when I needed you! I love you very much!

Miss Kitty was a very beautiful woman with a heart as big as the sky and a smile that would warm your heart like the morning sun. Never had a bad word to say about anyone. She loved everyone including fur babies. I even got invited to visit with her a few times. We loved it.. now Miss Kitty as you have started a new journey in Gods land, your husband waited there with open arms. “Together Again”🙏🌺

Sadly, I have not seen Kitty for many years. Last time was a wonderful gathering of Wingate girl cousins with lots of laughs and pictures almost 20 years ago. Kitty will be forever young to me. A beautiful bubbly teenager with a great laugh. Great memories of summers on Montgall , pesky little Ca cousin following Nancy and her around . God bless her. Know she will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
