Katherine A. Juarez

Katherine Ann Juarez, 59, passed away on January 23, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. Katherine was born to Cesario Juarez Sr. and Marie (Luna) Juarez on November 7, 1958. She lived most of her life in Kansas City, Missouri (Westside) but spent years in Garden City, Kansas while working for Amtrak. Kathy was an outgoing person that loved to hear people's stories and was really great at telling them too. She was always able to make people laugh.

Katherine was preceded in death by both of her parents, Cesario Sr. and Marie Juarez, as well as her brothers, Cesario Juarez Jr. and Michael Juarez. Katherine is survived by her children, Cesario (CJ) Juarez III, and his wife, Crissy, and Brandy Abington and husband, Aaron; her grandchildren, Isaac Juarez, Judah Juarez, Gabriel Juarez, Cesario Juarez IV and Kaylee McGroarty, Marley Abington, and Adrianna Abington. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Jones (Steven), Felicitas Santillan, Rosemary Oman; and brothers, Jimmy Reyes (Liz), Vincent and David Reyes.

A memorial service will be held at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO. 64111 on Saturday Jan. 28th, 2017 at 2pm with visitation at 1pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to defray funeral expenses.
