Kathleen Elizabeth Moore

Kathleen Elizabeth (Ryan) Moore, 85, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026. She was born on September 13, 1940, in Kansas City to Edmond P. Ryan and Sarah E. Ryan. She was a proud resident of Belton, Missouri, since 1981.

Kathleen lived life with warmth, grace, and a joyful spirit. She was a loving mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a fabulous great-grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her family. She was known for her chic and stylish personality, her fun-loving nature, and her belief that life’s special moments were meant to be celebrated.

Proud of her Irish heritage, Kathleen enjoyed gathering with family and friends over a good cup of coffee and, on occasion, a glass of Jameson or a glass of wine. Her quick smile, welcoming heart, and love of celebration made those around her feel special and loved.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Warren Moore.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Karen Langer (Joe), Tina Moore Yamron (Gary), Tammy Clark (Mark), Deanna Fodemski (Lenny), Julie Moore (Rich Keller), and Barbara Brown (David); her sister, Mary Margaret Sigmund; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Kathleen’s legacy is one of love, laughter, family, and the joy of living life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized.
