Kathryn Marlene Stinebrook

Kathy was born on February 3, 1955 to Cecil Edgar Igo and Mary Ethel Igo in Morgan County, Missouri. She lived in Kansas City, MO most of her life. She graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City MO and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Kathy was retired but worked previously as a cashier at the Federal Building. She also worked many years as a housekeeper at Glennon Nursing Home.

Survivors include her mother Mary E. Igo-Hardin, daughter Mary Angela Stinebrook-Mera (David), two grandsons Alejandro M. Zavala Sr. and Marco A. Zavala, one great grandson Alejandro M. Zavala Jr., sister in law Donna K. Igo, sister Norma J. Brown (Ron), nephew Ross N. Brown, and niece Jenny L. Copelin (Nick).

Kathy was predeceased by her father, Cecil E. Igo, her brother Ronald G. Igo, and her nephew Kent K. Brown.

A visitation for Kathy will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Akinsville Cemetery (Aikinsville), Garden Road, Akinsville, (Fortuna) MO 65034.
