

Kenneith Dale McFarland, November 20, 1965 – October 22, 2017 Kenneith Dale McFarland, 51 of Grandview Missouri passed away October 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held at Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be Friday, October 27,2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral and graveside services will be Saturday October 28, 10:00 a.m. Kenneith was born November 20, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Don McFarland and Judy Blacksher Anderson. He was an Eagle Scout and a warrior in Tribe Mic-O-Say. Ken was a patient, kind, hardworking man who instilled those values in his children. He graduated from Center Senior High School in 1984. Ken worked for Western Auto in Grandview, MO for 10 years where he achieved his Master Technician Certification before going to Vee Village where he worked 21 years as an Automotive Technician. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting with his friends, and fishing in Canada with his family. He also enjoyed playing pool. Ken was always there for his friends and family and would do anything for them. He was also one of the most stubborn and ornery people you would ever meet. Many have described him as a fun high-spirited man, a “gentle giant.” He loved playing with his granddaughter Avah who was the highlight of his life. He is survived by: his children; Joshua Albert, Terra McFarland, and Bryce McFarland; granddaughter, Avah McGuire; and future son in law Chris McGuire; his fiancé Becky Andring and daughter Alexis; mother Judy Anderson and her husband Jack; brothers, Jimmy McFarland and his wife Michelle, and Jack Anderson Jr.; and sisters, Nancy Clover, her husband Mark, Lynnessa Wall and Husband Patrick; his nieces, Kaitlin and Kathryn McFarland, Ashlee Lewis, Jordyn, Kamryn, Morgyn Fish and Trinity Hunter; and his nephews Brandon Bauer, Aaron and Daniel Clover; his aunts, Susan Hedrick and Janice Hayes; and husband Glen; his cousin Susan Scheurer and husband Rob; and many of his good friends that he considered to be family. Ken was preceded in death by his father Don McFarland and his grandparents, Jerry and Art Blacksher, Rose McFarland.
