Kevin Andrew Scanlon was suddenly called to his Heavenly Father on February 6, 2025. A man who marched to the beat of his own drum, Kevin was a visionary, a creator, and a doer. He was many things to many people—son, husband, father, brother, uncle, healer, musician, scientist, scholar, outdoorsman, woodworker, magician, leather-crafter, inventor, researcher, mentor, Christian, and chiropractor. His life was defined by an insatiable curiosity and an endless well of creativity, which he poured into everything he did and everyone he met.
Kevin never hesitated to pursue his many passions, seamlessly blending artistry with craftsmanship. Whether playing music, working with his hands, or exploring the mysteries of science, he approached life with a boundless enthusiasm that was truly inspiring. His presence left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him, and his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Kate and Bob Scanlon, as well as his brother, Jimmy Scanlon.
Kevin leaves behind his devoted wife, Prudence; his sons, Keegan, Jack, and Zane; and his daughter, Tuesday. He is also survived by his brother, R.C. Scanlon, his wife Susan, and their children and grandchildren; his brother, Clancy Scanlon; and his sister, Sally Russell, her husband Brett, and their children and grandchildren.
Kevin’s spirit will live on through the memories and love he shared, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
