I was blessed to have Kim for a friend and dance partner.  She shared her unforgettable smile with all of us.  She and Houston had such an envious marriage.  She loved their "ranch" so much and showed it to me with such pride and enthusiasm the first time I was there to practice a dance exhibition. She also shared her and Houston's future plans on the acreage out back for their ranch, the perfect, peaceful retreat.  I loved that "country girl" in Kim! It wasn't until then I learned about her love for animals and all of natures beauty.  Also, of course, I loved her cookies and brownies so much that she give me what she claimed helped make them great!  A Pampered Chef Stoneware baking dish for Christmas one year!

I will miss her so much.  We all felt that bright shining light from her!  Her spirit and memory will remain in all she touched.  My thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of her family and friends.  May God Bless and Comfort all of us in this time of unbearable loss of our forever friend and loved one, Kim.

Kim was a light in my life!  I met her teaching dance at Melange.  She was kind, warm & very much a professional!  I had fun when she was my dance partner - she was so good!  Her feet were planted firmly on the ground (down to earth), she had kind words and expressions for me,  and I for her.  She was always happy and I could feel her hesitation to leave Houston & all of us while visiting her at the hospital.  I loved Kim, not because we were the best of friends, but because of who she was and who she made me feel while in her presence.  I'll never forget the elegance of her dance style & the most beautiful back I have ever seen.  She was a knockout.  A perfect combination of kindness, being direct, strength, pretty - all with a humble confidence.  She was one of the people that many never forget.  I know I will never forget her and she will live through me with my memories of her as well as many others. 

I met Kim at one of the Minneapolis Ice Dance weekends. She was a great person and so much fun! Always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by many.
She fought a courageous battle and I admired her positive attitude.

Seems like just yesterday  when I first met Kim at an ice arena.   We had both arrived early.
Kim  was a mere 20 yrs old, learning ice dances, and wondering what ballroom dancing was like.  
"My lady, would you waltz with me?"..........I taught her how to waltz in the empty  hallways of that ice arena.....her first waltz, ......she was a natural, being Kim,  a delight to dance with.......  that was to be expected.  
 After that, in typical Kim fashion of 110% effort, she pursued floor dance, and started teaching ....
As we all know, Kim's  enthusiasm is infectious...   We've kept in touch all those years.   

"Kim, I would say, "dancing is the universal language"......Kim's response....
 "You are so right Lee! Everyone should dance, the world would be  a much happier place!!"

Watch out above, put on your dancing shoes......!  Kim will be so missed.......and never forgotten.....

Kim was a great cousin to me. Even tho we only met once 23 years ago, she has touched my heart. I loved kim and will always love kim. She may not be here physically but she is here spiritually and I do believe that. You are definitely an angel and always will be. Fly high cousin kim! Dance away!!!

Twenty six years ago I was introduced to dancing.  Shortly thereafter I met Kim at a small country dance place.  Little did I know how that chance encounter would change my life and open a new world for me.  We began taking lessons together and became dance partners.  I remember how I struggled.  She encouraged me to persevere.  It was a happy and carefree time, learning together, social dancing and making new friends.  There are so many memories of wonderful times we shared together.  She loved learning to dance, meeting new friends and exploring new places to dance.   We encounter many people during our lifetime, but isn't it amazing how meeting that special person leads to connecting with and influencing so many more good friends?  My life has changed and I am a better person after having met Kim.  I will never forget her.  Jim Seeman
