At 55, Kimberly was a beacon of optimism, laughter, and love, qualities that endeared her to anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She brought joy wherever she went, from the early days of childhood to the very end. Although her journey included many challenges, Kimberly's resilience and positivity were unmatched. Despite numerous surgeries and physical limitations, she maintained an infectious spirit. Graduating high school and savoring the independence of living on her own for 33 years were achievements that filled Kimberly with pride and were a testament to her strength and determination.
Kimberly cherished her family deeply and her happiness was complete when she was surrounded by loved ones and her adored cats. Her father, Don Sanders, mother, Valerie Sanders, sisters, Tamara and Bree Sanders, and grandmother, Norma Swezey, brother-in-law Jesus Israel Hernandez and Mike McGinnis remain to celebrate her legacy.
She joins her grandparents, Walter Swezey, Sue Sanders, and Elmer Sanders, as well as her great-grandparents, Ernest and Ina Swezey, in heaven, where we believe she continues to shine her light.
The family will hold a private mass in celebration of her beautiful soul at St. Peter's Catholic Church on March 10, 2025. Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Kimberly is now smiling, dancing, and watching over us with love.
