He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and continued his studies at the University of Kansas. He was an avid Jayhawk fan and graduated with a degree in Genetics. After KU, Kyle went on to UMKC to earn his Masters Degree in Microbiology. He worked as a scientist with several companies in the medical/biotech field.
He married Megan (Watts) Jones in July 2013. They have three beautiful children, Ava, Emma and Luke.
Kyle is survived by his wife and children, his parents David and Misti, brother Daniel (Maechelle), sister Calli Martin (Curtis), grandmother Marilyn Jones, aunt Julie Beard (Robert), aunt Kristi Blanck (Tom), and also by many nephews, nieces and cousins who loved him so much.
A private celebration will be held November 26 for family members.
