Dr. Larry C. Huey, DDS, 79 of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Excelsior Springs, MO passed away peacefully on December 1, 2011. He was born December 11, 1931 in Holyoke, CO to Walter and Mayme (Cauble) Huey, who precede him in death. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He attended UMKC dental School and practiced dentistry for 38 years in Excelsior Springs, MO. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob and Glen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Violet and their five children: Steven Huey (Krystal), Pamela Coll (Eddie), Julia Huey, Susan Hummel (Mike) and Christopher Huey (Billie) and ten grandchildren: Michelle, Rene, Eddie, Madeleine, Henry, Ally, Jack, Christopher, Lizzie, Andrew and his sister Jean Pivonka (Dan). Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at St. Peter’s Parish, 815 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO, flowed by Mass at 11a.m.
