

Larry Million, 73, of Eureka, KS, formerly of Kansas City, passed away Sept. 29, 2015 in Omaha, NE, after battling cancer for two years. Funeral will be Saturday Oct. 3 at 1:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO. Visitation, also at McGilley Antioch Chapel, will be Friday Oct. 2 from 6:00-8:00. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO.
Larry was born Mar. 12, 1942 in Falls City, NE to Louis and Betty Harmon. Betty later married James Million, whom Larry knew as his “Dad” and honored him by taking the Million name when he reached 21 years of age. He was raised in Falls City by his grandmother, Emma Percell, and later moved to Omaha to live with his mother and step-father. He graduated from Technical High School in Omaha, then proudly served his country for four years in the Navy.
He married the former Janice Wilmot and worked many jobs, most notably at Millard Refrigeration/ConAgra as operations manager of the custom packaging plant.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law. Survivors include his wife, Janice, of the home; one daughter, Beth Million of Excelsior Springs, MO; two grandchildren, Anna Snyder and Dean Snyder; sister, Sharon Nixon, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to the Kansas City services, there will be a Memorial Service at a later date at Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Eureka, KS.
