Beth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and beloved friend to many. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Charley; her mother, Hazel Faulkner; her brother, Claude Hatton and grandson, Ryan Fisher.
She is survived by her 4 children: sons, Michael, Daniel and Donald Fisher and daughter, Joyce and her husband Ron Compton; her 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as her brothers, Frank and Robert Hatton and sister, Susan Wipperman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beth will forever be remembered for the loving home she created and welcomed all into. Never was there a time that she was not there to answer the call of a friend or loved one and never did she not manage to give that person more than was asked. While Charley was the fire chief, Beth took enormous pride in being the wife of the fire chief, a mother to three firemen, and a grandmother to 4 more. To build a home that was as strong as theirs while supporting her husband and all that followed was no small task, but she did it with a fierce passion and great faith in God that carried her through the good times and the bad.
Beth’s family will be eternally grateful to the Sisters Servants of Mary who were bedside as she ascended into Heaven and many nights leading up to it, especially to Sr. Fabiola, Sr. Alecia, & Sr. Mercedes. Additionally, the outstanding care provided by Harbor Hospice, especially Kathy Dixon, RN – an angel here on earth will never be forgotten.

The visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm.
