

Lee Ann Shrader passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Kansas City, surrounded by the family she cherished. Born on January 8, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Ronald Lee Haga and Patsy Ann Gattis Haga.
Lee Ann spent her life caring deeply about people and the communities around her. Throughout her successful career, she held executive roles at numerous organizations, where she led, served, facilitated, and supported others, always guided by compassion, thoughtfulness, and a desire to make things better.
Her life was marked by a strong commitment to community and faith. She held leadership positions with P.E.O. and Rotary Club, was a member of Leadership Kansas, served as a Girl Scouts troop leader, was deeply active in her church community and volunteered with many other community organizations. Serving others brought her great joy and purpose.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Shrader; her daughter, Alexandra “Lexi” (Billinger) Sullivan, and son in law, Gregory Sullivan; her treasured grandson, Patrick Sullivan, who was the light of her life, and extended family near and far.
Above all, Lee Ann was devoted to her family and friends. She was a caring wife, a supportive mother, and a deeply loving and proud grandmother. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, welcoming and warm presence, and the strength with which she loved those around her.
Services will be held on March 30, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Leawood, Kansas. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., with a luncheon immediately following the Mass. A private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to a charity of your choice—an expression that reflects Lee Ann’s lifelong commitment to helping others.
