I was very lucky to know such a beautiful woman inside and out. Prayers to the family.

We are sending prayers to the family of Leola. She was loved by so many and we will all miss her. We remember when Tony and Leola first came to South Haven Baptist Church. She taught me so much in her quilting class and later she taught me to crochet. She was a very loving person and would do anything for you. We love you sweet lady but we know you are very happy now to be with our Father in Heaven. Tell Tony hello for us.

My Dear Sweet Granny - What are we going to do without you? I love you so much, your beautiful soft hair and loving smile. You are in my earliest memories, singing in the red car on the way to the farm, Amazing Grace and Jesus Loves Me, warning me about the "big hills" coming up, working in the garden, collecting eggs, shucking corn - for a whole week - and going to vacation bible school at Bear Creek Baptist Church. You taught me about Jesus and I owe my relationship with the Lord today to your example. I know you are with Papa now and that you have missed him for so long, but now we miss you here so much. I wish I could hold your hand again. I'll never forget looking over and watching you crochet and the beautiful prayers you said before every meal. "Lord please watch over us with Psalm 91 and bind Satan from this home." The kids and I love you so much Granny. You have always been my angel.

It was an honor to know Leola in the short 2 years I have attended South Haven. It was always a treat to greet her & talk to her before church services. I also enjoyed talking to her at our Sunday School class dinners. It's reassuring to know that she is now at home with our Heavenly Father, & that she is reunited with her husband, Tony. She will be greatly missed.
