

Leona Hollenbeck Mark, 90, of Pembroke Pines, Fl. Deceased 10/31/14. Daughter of Gracie Mae and Ernest A. Hollenbeck. Leona was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, and moved to Miami, FL in 1965. She is predeceased by: husband Melvin Mark, sisters Lova Gould, Ernestine "Tina" Bendert, and Barbara Rudolph, nephews Ernest "Ernie" Akers and Brent "Buzzy" Rudolph, and niece Rita Flathers. Leona is survived by daughter Linda Corpolongo, grandsons Troy and Thomas, and Troy's wife Marie. Her loving extended family of nieces and nephews, Joyce Roche, husband Patrick, daughters Barbara and Cynthia. Nephew Robert Ernest "Rusty" Gould, wife Marion, daughters Andrea and Michelle. Niece, Janice Lampe, husband Ronald (deceased). Nephew Jay Rudolph, wife Theresa, son Jonathon, daughters Ashley and Alyssa. Nephew James "Rick" Rudolph and Mike Ferguson.
Leona had a long career as a private secretary and retired from Arthur Murray International when she was 75. She held a deep love for children and animals, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family and her pets. After retirement she traveled and she spent a good amount of her time documenting family lineage and creating the Hollenbeck family tree.
She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, & Aunt who charmed all she encountered with her outspoken personality and her kind & compassionate spirit. She will be greatly missed by loved ones and all who knew her.
