Leonard E. Swanson, 87, Lee's Summit, MO, passed away March 24, 2017. Visitation will be on March 27 at Mount Moriah Funeral Home from 5-8pm. Leonard was born in St. Joseph, MO to Leonard V. and Wilberta Swanson. Survivors include his wife, Nora Joan Swanson; daughters Brenda McBride (Ray), Cindy Brown (Bob), Linda Swanson, Annette Swanson and son John Swanson (Erin). He was preceded in death by his daughter Debbie Vasseur; his parents; brother John A. Swanson; sisters Betty Kovac and Janice Oberhaus. He had 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
