Lila Faye Perry, 98, passed away Oct. 13, 2013 in Paducah, KY. Funeral services will be held on Oct. 18, 2013 at 2:00pm with a visitation from 1-2pm at Red Bridge United Methodist Church, 636 E. 117th St., Kansas City, MO 64131. Donations may be made to Red Bridge United Methodist Church. Lila was born Oct. 10, 1915 in Stilwell, KS to parents Walter Smith and Effie Pedigo. Lila was a long time member of the Red Bridge United Methodist Church, worked at Hallmark Cards during the war years, and enjoyed being a cook for the Jackson Co. School Systems for 17 years. Lila was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert N. Perry of 67 years, and son Robert A. Perry. She is survived by daughter Connie Markgraf and grandchildren Amy Adams, Chris Markgraf, Kari Long, and Derek Markgraf, and 10 great grandchildren.
