As one of the three oldest sisters in the Conaway household Lillian was helpful to her mother in taking care of her seven younger siblings. From teaching them how to tie their shoes, and count to 100, to helping them learn their ABC’s. Lillian was a silent supporter to her family and often gave advice to her brothers and sisters to keep them on a straight path.

She married William DeWayne Jackson on August 12th, 1970, and had three beautiful sons, Jaime, Bryan, and Darren. Despite the many struggles her family faced, Lillian never gave up and continued to provide support for them. Lillian’s big heart and humble spirit also enabled her help others in need by working at the Kansas City’s Social Security Office for over a decade. She retired early due to complications with her personal health.
