Lillian was born August 21, 1934 to James and Rose Welch at home in Lutie, MO. She was the owner of Avondale Furniture and Antiques for over 50 years. Among several of Lillian’s favorite things to do was ironing, cleaning and lots of yard work, as well as teaching family and friends sound advice to get them through the day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny V. Waskovsky, on December 21, 1991.
Lillian is survived by two children, Donald Waskovsky and Bridgett Washam; two grandchildren, Eric and Michael Sams; and a sister, Kathy McDaniel; and many close nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Willma Simpson, Vada Williams, Earnest Waldo Welch, Monroe Welch, Loraine Hurckmen.
Lillian’s most sound advice was “keep joy in your heart and you’ll never see pain.” Your wisdom and presence will be missed.
