Linda Rae Bechelmayr

Linda Rae James Miller Bechelmayr, 74, died September 26, 2023, in Lees Summit, Missouri. She was born August 4, 1949 in Braymer, Missouri the daughter of Leonard and Myrtle James. Linda had an unwavering faith, following Jesus nearly all her life, and was a member of Southview Baptist Church in Raytown, Missouri. She was a retired administrative assistant and could type faster than most could speak.

She enjoyed playing piano, singing, travelling, and had an unquenchable sweet tooth, always preferring dessert rather than the main course. Linda and Boyd were each other’s second marriage and had a love and respect for each other and the families they built together.

Linda is survived by her husband of fourteen years Boyd Bechelmayr, two sons Darin Miller (married to Marissa) and Brian Miller (married to Carolyn), one stepson Bill (married to Tricia) and one step-daughter Jenny (married to Kenny). three sisters Gail Cole, Susan James, and Sheila Collier. Grandchildren include Christopher Ritter, Evan Miller and Joey Miller, Samantha Bechelmayr, Nathan Bechelmayr, Rocco Fowler and Veronica Fowler. Great grandchild Avery Ritter and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by father Leonard James and mother Myrtle James, first husband Colin Miller, daughter Renee Ritter, son-in-law Rodney Ritter, grandson Tyler Patterson, brothers-in-law Rex Cole and Doyle Collier.

Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Raytown, Missouri on October 6, 2023 at 9 am with a service to follow.

Family graveside service will take place at Ebenezer cemetery in Bogard, Missouri.
