

Linda was born September 20, 1940, and passed away on February 10, 2022. The rosary and visitation will be on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. The rosary will be prayed at 5:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be the following day, Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. Interment will follow the mass at Resurrection Cemetery, 8300 Quivira Road, Lenexa, KS 66215.
Linda was a lifetime Kansas City area resident. She graduated from Paseo High School in 1958 and began working at the Kansas City Police Department. After starting her family in 1963, she began working at the American Business Women’s Association and remained there until she retired in 2002.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by husband, Ron and four loving sons: Benny (Cathy), Paul, Michael (Teresa), and John (Bridgett) Calia. The boys were her pride and joy honoring her with their loyalty and commitment to family. Linda loved attending their school and athletic events not missing many over the years. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Samantha, Alexandra, Nikolaus, Vincent, Megan, Alex and Andy; loving sister and brother-in-law; Ozzie and Carol Ann Miller, Spokane, WA., her special nephew; Mark Mulvany, and many other nieces and nephews, extended family; Chris and Tim, Carolyn, Kathy and Bryon, loving grandchildren, Scott, Laura, Nicole, Eddie, Stephen, Lucas, Chloe, Greta and seven great-grandchildren; Kenny, Myah, Leah, Eddie, Tyler, Heith and Jett.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Gus and Anna Olson, sister, and best friend; Johanna Mulvany and former husband; Andy Calia.
Linda loved to travel with her husband, Ron. Together they traveled to all fifty states and took many cruises. She also loved the holidays, especially Christmas. Decorating, gift buying and hosting her annual holiday open house gave her great pleasure.
She was a generous and caring person devoted to her family; they were most important to her. She will be greatly missed.
