Linda Kay Dottrey, 61, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away September 17, 2013. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Linda Kay Robinson Dottrey was the third child of ten children, born to James and Berniece Robinson (both previously deceased), November 1, 1951 in Canton, Missouri. She accepted Christ at an early age. She retired from the Social Security Administration after 35 years of service. Linda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Clarence Bennett Dottrey II; grandchildren, Dayton, Tradell, Kiera, and Darrius; brothers and sisters, Carolyn, James Jr., David, Janice, Ronald, Mary Ann, Gary, Charles and Michael; a host of nieces and nephews, who to she, was lovingly their “Cookie.”
