Linda, like many of her relatives enjoyed a long life. Born and raised in Michigan, graduating from University of Michigan, and moved many times around the country supporting Guy’s career. Subsequently retiring to Florida, before health concerns brought her to be in closer proximity to family to manage her decline.
Linda enjoyed summering in northern Michigan, enjoying country club activities and playing bridge. Linda also enjoyed watching many University of Michigan football games, most times enjoying the band at halftime more than the game itself.
Linda was an accomplished tennis player, competitive in a stubborn, strategic way. That stubborn nature carried thru to social settings as well, and her willingness to share her opinion always made for lively conversation.
Linda is survived by her Sister Sue and husband, Tom Doubet of Springfield, Illinois as well as her three sons and their spouses, Bart (Beth), Andy (Nancy), and Michael (Julie), seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the incredible care givers at Park Meadows and Monarch Hospice. Linda so appreciated your attention.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of their choice.
