

Linda Suzanne Garcia, 63 of Kansas City, Missouri, died on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help-Redemptorist Fathers Church, 3333 Broadway. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, where the Rosary will prayed at 7:00 pm.
Linda was born on March 13, 1952 to Herman and Ophelia (Esquivel) Garcia in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended Redemptorist High School until it closed after her junior year; the next year she graduated from Westport High School. She retired as an inventory clerk for the JC Penney warehouse. Linda’s survivors include her parents, Herman and Ophelia Garcia; 9 siblings and five “adopted” siblings, Frances Florido, Herman Garcia, Jr., Thomas Garcia, Carol Palacio, Micaela Tinoco, Raymond Garcia, Sr., Eliseo Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Sr., Ronald Garcia, Valentina Garcia, Mark Garcia, Aquarius Garcia, Jeff Santa Cruz, and Hilda Long; and many, many nieces and nephews.
