Linda Harrison passed away February 26, 2017. She was born March 3, 1955 in Kansas City MO. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes followed by graveside service at 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
Linda graduated from Center High School. She went on to pursue a career in caregiving as a certified nurses-aide. Linda enjoyed nature, taking walks and caring for her animals, along with any strays that found their way to her doorstep. Most importantly in life was her love for spending time with her son and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Willis Thomas. She is survived by her spouse of 30 years, John Harrison; her loving and caring son, Brian Thomas and life partner Lacy Ramsey; 5 grandchildren, Brianne, Ruby and Grant Thomas, Calli and Cayden Ramsey; her brothers Don Thomas, Rick Thomas, sister Patricia Thomas and their extended families; step daughter, Delinda Smith; and beloved cat, Cami. Linda will remain always in the memories, hearts, and lives she touched.
