Lisa Marie Alderman

Lisa Marie (Creek) Alderman, 41, of Kansas City, MO passed away August 25, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital from a hemorrhagic stroke. Lisa was born June 6, 1970 in Belleville, IL. She moved to Kansas City in 1981, attended St. Thomas More School and graduated from Archbishop O’Hara High School. She attended the University of Central Missouri and Longview College. Lisa’s professional life was devoted to enriching the lives of children as a pre K teacher. She was employed at Calvary Lutheran School in South Kansas City at the time of her death. Lisa was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Dr. Thomas Alderman; grandfather, Reverend Thomas Creek; and grandmother, Margaret Mory. She is survived by husband, Tony; daughter, Rachael; and son, Benjamin; her parents, David and Peggy Creek; brother, Ryan Creek; grandmother, Juanita Creek; grandfather, Elmer Mory; mother-in-law, Barbara Alderman; brothers-in-law, Dan Alderman (Amy), Louis Alderman, and Alex Alderman; sisters-in-law, Theresa Alderman (Phil Thornberg) and Sheila Alderman; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, August 30th at 5:30 p.m. at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO, followed by a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 31st at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd. Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to The Benjamin Alderman Scholarship Fund.
