Lisa J. Fehnel

Lisa was born on December 30, 1963 to Calvin and Gladys Sweet. She was a supportive, understanding, and kind mother, and her love was the steady foundation of her family. She gave endlessly of herself, always putting others first and offering compassion without judgment.

Lisa was a devoted wife who proudly supported her husband. Together, they traveled the world, building a life rich in shared experiences, resilience, and deep partnership. No matter where life took them, home was always where Lisa was - warm, welcoming, and full of love.

Above all else, Lisa cherished her family and friends. She was a constant source of encouragement and comfort, and those who knew her felt truly seen and supported. Her presence was gentle, her strength quiet, and her impact immeasurable.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Fehnel; her beloved daughters, Allison Trent and Audrey Fehnel; her grandson, Ethan Trent; and her son-in-law, Christian Trent. Her love and guidance will continue to live on through them.

A visitation will begin at 10:30 am, followed by her Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Christ Community Church - Leawood Campus, located at 14200 Kenneth Road, Leawood, Kansas, 66224. Lisa's committal service will follow at 1:30 pm in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9501 W. 159th Street, Overland Park, Kansas, 66221.

Lisa will be deeply missed and forever loved.
