Lisa Marie Lundgren

LISA MARIE LUNDGREN of Kansas City, MO passed away on July 19, 2011 at the North Kansas City Hospital. A Christian burial mass will be at 10am Saturday, July 23 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Highway 9, KCMO, burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit from 6-8 pm on July 22 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel; the rosary will be prayed at 7pm.

Lisa, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO, was born on February 9, 1973. She is a 1991 graduate of Park Hill High School. Lisa’s compassionate spirit and kind heart made her a very special mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and aunt. She cared for her nieces, Cierra and Alecea, and nephew, Dante, as her own children. To further demonstrate her desire to care for others, Lisa was attending college to pursue a career in nursing.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Glenn Lundgren, paternal grandmother, Martha French, maternal grandfather, Vincent Reyes, Sr. and cousin, Renee Reyes. Survivors include daughter, Marissa Smith, mother, Christina Reyes, sisters, Rachel Lundgren, Liz Lundgren, Anita Lundgren, brother, Anthony Lundgren, grandmother, Paula Reyes and numerous family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Therese Altar and Rosary Society. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Cardiac ICU at North Kansas City Hospital for their compassionate care they provided Lisa.

Lisa was a beautiful person inside and out. Her caring and loving ways touched the lives of many. She will be greatly missed!
