Lloyd M. Goforth, 93, passed away March 13, 2014 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
Mr. Goforth was born January 22, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of William M. and Loal (Fidler) Goforth. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He had worked for the United States Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Goforth, in 2000.
