

Mrs. Loethel (Tiny) Lottie was born on May 23, 1932 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Alfred and Vassie Brown. She was the 8th of 11 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, sisters and 2 brothers.
She attended the Holdenville Public Schools, and later met her beloved husband, Odell Lottie, Sr. of 43 years of marriage. She and her husband resided in Kansas City, Missouri since 1953.
Loethel was an employee at the Kansas City Missouri Public School District and retired from there after 18 years. She was a faithful member of the Memorial Missionary Baptist Church for many years and later became a faithful member of the St. Paul Monument of Faith Church of God in Christ until her illness. Loethel loved God and raised her children to love God as well.
Loethel was a well beloved dedicated, sincere wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Loethel had many nieces and nephews who loved to visit their aunt Tiny just to sit and talk for hours.
Loethel Lottie leaves to cherish her fond memories: 5 sons, Billy Joe Drinkwater of Oakland, CA, Ray James Drinkwater of Denver, CO, Alfred Lottie of Des Moines, IA, Odell Lottie, Jr. of Kansas City, MO, Leroy Lottie of Des Moines, IA; 6 daughters, Dell Ann Robinson, Kathy Lottie both of Des Moines, IA, Shirley (Vincent) Davis of Kansas City, MO, Debra Lottie of Des Moines, IA, Edna Lottie-Muhammad, Yolanda Leonard both of Kansas City, MO. 35 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, one brother, Oscar Brown (Sweetboy) of Oklahoma City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Loethel will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A burial will occur Saturday, December 16, 2017 after the service at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
