Logan Robert Baker

August 30, 2011February 12, 2013

Our wonderful child Logi Bear lost his battle with congenital muscular dystrophy and went to heaven on February 12, 2013. Those who were privileged to know him will remember his happiness, his courage, his love of music and other children and the strength of will that allowed him to fight the effects of his disease for his 17 months of life. Whether with his loving family and many friends or during his hospital stays, his calm and peaceful disposition and ready smile endeared him to all. His life will continue through the organs that he donated for medical and research purposes.

Visitation will be held from 7:30 – 9:30 pm on Friday, February 15 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 16. Both will be held at St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS following the Mass of Christian Burial.

Logan was preceded in death by his great grandparents, George Davidson, Howard and Eleanor Baker, and Bernard and Marguerite McCarthy, great aunt Diane Davidson and his aunt Laura Baker. He is survived by his parents Kevin and Tracie Baker, Uncle Mark Davidson, grandparents Ken and Amy Baker and Joe and Mary Davidson, great grandparents Peggy Davidson, Francis and Phyllis Sarginger, many cousins, great aunts and uncles and an army of adoring fans.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Lee Ann Britain Infant Development Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital for their care and devotion. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to CureCMD, P.O. Box 701, Olathe, KS 66051 or to fund research for treatment and a cure for congenital muscular dystrophy.
