Lois Kathryn Hibberd passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 86. Lois was born on August 8, 1939, to Alex and Rosemary Petersen in Lincoln, Nebraska. Lois loved her dog Otis, reading, watching movies and having game nights with her family.
Lois is proceeded in death by her parents and her brother James. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Hibberd and her five children Cindy Hibberd, Laurie (Danny) Kunkel, Cheri (Michael) Diaz, Michael Hibberd and Michelle Hibberd; her grandchildren Amber, Zachary, Derrick (Siara), Christopher, Breann, Xavier (Jessica), Dominic (Allyson) and her great-grandson Agustín.
Lois will be remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
