

Lorene I. (Lib) Brown, age 84, of Raytown, Missouri went to be with her Savior on July 16, 2012. Lorene was born December 13, 1927 to Frederick Logan Brasington and Anna Belle Kennedy Brasington in Warrensburg, Missouri. Lorene married Frank “Jack” Brown, the love of her life, on November 1, 1962, where they were together 38 years. She worked as a secretary for the FBI from 1954 to 1983. Her favorite things were playing golf, reading, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and spending time with family. She loved animals, especially her dog Lucy. Lorene was very active in her church, including volunteering in the office and playing in their ukulele band and bell choir. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers George Brasington, Burton Brasington and his wife Frances (Frankie), and sister N. Lillian Duderstadt and her husband Earl. She is survived by her brother Frank Brasington and his wife Wanda, of Wichita Falls, Texas, sister-in-law Lillian Nash of Kansas City, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64131.
