She had been a resident of the Senior Living facility for nearly two years.
Lorraine was born March 26, 1926, in Wagner, South Dakota to Frank and Julia Morrison. She was raised on farms in South Dakota and northern Missouri along with a sister, Violet, and four brothers, Raymond, Arthur, Gene and Lyle.
In 1942, she was married to James Edward Dunn and continued farming until 1951. During this time, she and her husband were on the radio, on a recurring basis, in northern Missouri where they sang.
In 1951, she and her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. She worked at Wilcox Electronics where she started as a Component Assembler, progressed to a Quality Assurance Analyst and on to Assistant Engineer. While she was an Assistant Engineer, she worked on a project implementing new electronics for aircraft. As a final piece of the project, she participated on the maiden flight to test out the equipment. After retiring she worked part-time for the police department as crosswalk officer.
Lorraine was a loving and giving Mother and Grandmother, dedicated to her family. She was strong-willed and hard-working, instilling that ethic into her children. She was a member of Red Bridge United Methodist Church.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Wyman Revels and Alvin Russell Manley, sister and brothers.
She is survived by children Judy Ann Boydston, Gene Edward (Bonnie) Dunn and Janice Lea Bates; 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
