Louis Rodriguez

Louis Rodriguez, 78, of Kansas City, Missouri died on Friday, November 10, 2006 at Truman Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Redemptorist Fathers Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm. The family suggests contributions to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Institute. Louis was born on October 17, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lucas and Crescencia (Eschavaria) Rodriguez. He worked 40 years for Kansas City Public Works Department, retiring in 1980. He then went to work for Hennessey Sheet Metal. Louis was an Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his 15 brothers and sisters and was the last of his family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Clementa, of the home; their daughter, Maria DeSimio and her husband, Mark, and their daughters, Olivia and Angelica; and many nieces and nephews and their families and many friends.
