Louise E. Harmon, 94, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away November 12, 2014. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church in Raytown, Missouri.
Louise was born August 6, 1920 in Joplin, Missouri. She moved to Kansas City in 1921. She married Keith E. Harmon on June 14, 1940 in Olathe, Kansas by Judge Jones. They met in January 1940 at the Cla-Mor Ballroom, they loved to dance. They were married 67 years on June 14, 2007, Keith preceded her in death on June 15, 2007 at Research Hospital. Louise and Keith lived 57 years at their present address in Raytown.
Louise was employed at Kline’s Dept. Store, Avon Products, Unity School of Christianity, and retired from Marine Corps Finance Center after 21 years.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Wiseman, who passed away November 2008 and one nephew Ronald L. Wiseman, December 1992. She is survived by her nephew and his wife Larry D. and Carla Wiseman, nephew Warren Wiseman, niece Wendi Nichols, niece Lisa Lysesky, great-niece Carlie Nichols, and great-nephew Russell Oliver Wiseman.
