

Lee was one of eight siblings born to Edward and Ludmilla Kempinger on February 15, 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri. Lee graduated from Ruskin High School. She worked for Hallmark Cards for 25 years and retired in 1981 as Section Manager-Handwork. Lee said she enjoyed her job, “especially working with new products and people.” She also enjoyed sewing, traveling and her children and their families.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband Leland Kramer, one daughter Dottie Lee Agnew, and five siblings Amelia Willey, Ann Schrick, Joe Kempinger, Mary Miller Gallagher and Ed Kempinger. She is survived by her daughter Sandy Feeney, son Harold Kramer (Linda), and sisters Margie Klapmeyer (Clarence) and Dorothy Grindinger. She is also survived by seven grandchildren Patrick Feeney (Lee), Michael Feeney (Shelley), Lori Jones (Mike), Stacy O’Neil (Bud), Shelly Kramer (Rich), Mandy Harris (Rob) and Jennifer Witt (Wes), and thirteen grandchildren Ryan, Addison, Zach, Tim, Amanda, Amy, Ariel, Lilly Marie, Denise, Kristen, Jason, Bobby and Whitney.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Catholic Community Hospice, 9740 W. 87th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
