Lourine lived in Sugar Creek, Missouri, for 68 years, building a life rooted in constancy and commitment. She was married to Ernest Bell Jr. for six decades, and together they shared a long and faithful partnership. She was a devoted mother to three children: Sharon, Gary, and Eugene.
For many years, Lourine devoted herself to the work of home and family, offering steady care with a quiet, selfless spirit that shaped the lives around her. As a homemaker and babysitter, she lovingly watched over two generations of children—an enduring gift of time, patience, and presence that will be remembered with deep gratitude.
Her hands were rarely still. Lourine found purpose and peace in beading, crafting, and crocheting, and she was especially known for handmade Christmas decorations—pieces that took days of careful work and were often sold for five dollars!
Lourine was preceded in death by her parents JB and Viola Allbright; sister Betty Baker; and husband Ernest Bell JR.
She is survived by a large family made up of her children Sharon Slayton, Gary Bell, and Eugene (Teresa) Bell; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and even a few great-great-great grandchildren.
