Lowell Owen Hay, 86, of Kansas City, MO, passed away March 9, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was born October 3, 1934 in Pomona, Kansas. After his graduation from Pomona High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served during The Korean Conflict. After his time in the service he became an Operating Engineer (Local 101) for 63 years. When Lowell retired, his top priority was caring for his “babies,” Bonnie and Clyde. He was an avid square dancer and shared this passion with his wife, Jacklyn Clare Hay for 50 golden years, whom preceded him in death. Lowell was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his sons, Brian and David and his beloved bulldogs, Bonnie and Clyde.
Due to the Covid Pandemic, services will be private. However the family welcomes online condolences and remembrances.
