Lynn and her husband, Randy, shared 34 years of marriage. They spent many years driving over the road together, seeing beautiful places along the way. They also enjoyed watching old westerns and going to the Corner Cafe.
Lynn cherished her large extended family. Over the years, they took turns gathering at her parents’ home, an aunt’s home, or her own. Her sisters, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews came together for meals, card games, and time with one another. A cherished family photograph of hers once captured five generations together.
She loved the sun, cooking and baking, and made an amazing chocolate meringue pie. Over the years, she crocheted many blankets for new babies in the family, and as gifts for other loved ones.
She was an avid reader and coffee drinker who loved puzzles, Wheel of Fortune, classic comedies with Chevy Chase and Steve Martin, and old Saturday Night Live episodes on VHS.
Lynn always had some kind of side gig going, whether it was an early grocery delivery service or selling giant cookie bouquets out of her basement. She saved pastel tissue paper from gift bags for years and years, never quite able to bring herself to throw it away. She was persistent, always on the go. There was always someone or something she wanted to care for.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Randy Kalm; her son, Sean Richardson; her daughter, Debbie Chandler; her stepson, Randy Kalm Jr.; her sisters, Karen Newland and Gail Fisher; her mother-in-law, Bettie Kalm; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Judith A. Williams and Mary J. Hixson; her son, Timothy J. Richardson; and her father-in-law, Raymond H. Kalm Sr.
